MAD-RAMPS Are Road Safe

One of the biggest obstacles in hauling your ATV/UTV is ensuring that it meets state and federal regulations. Do you need extra insurance? What about an orange safety flag? Rear marker lights?

With MAD-RAMPS, you don’t have to worry about any of that.

In 2016, we went before 7 DOT investigators, and after a 4 hour inspection, the DOT determined that our patented MAD-RAMPS are completely street legal. MAD-RAMPS feature LED tail, turn, and brake lights. After our meeting with the DOT, we added a third “rear marker light” for even more safety.

MAD-RAMPS meet and exceed all Iowa and federal DOT regulations, so you never have to worry about taking your ATV/UTV out on the road again.

The LED lights on your MAD-RAMPS are sourced from Tecniq, and are made in the USA. MAD-RAMPS also feature wiring harnesses that are made in-house. Most trailer companies use some sort of wiring harness, but we wanted to go above and beyond the industry standard. MAD-RAMPS wiring harnesses are made with waterproof connections (referred to as DEUTSCH connectors) and are abrasion wrapped.

Next time you need to haul your ATV/UTV out on the road, you can be sure that using MAD-RAMPS will keep you and your equipment safe, and up to code with all state and federal regulations. Happy hauling!
